Almost three weeks into my new life in New Jersey and I haven’t said a word. Things are good, life is comfortable and if I have it my way 2008 will be my year. How About a Little Travelling Music…

So I’m down to bare bones in my room, my trunk is full, the address change is in, I’m heading into my last week of work and things are pretty much set. I’m having drinks with my friend Lisa tonight and it struck me. We’ve been together since 2nd grade. This distance will be the farthest apart we’ve ever been. Sure we’ve gone time without seeing each other even when I lived an hour away.

I’ve known for weeks that I’m afraid to leave, but for some reason it’s really hitting me today. I’m leaving! For as much as I’ve wanted it and talked about it, I’m actually about to do it and I’m scared, but I’m ready.
